Excel schema question

Question, I have been testing a process flow that picks up a excel file and inserts to a SQL table. I was having issues with it failing and was able to get it to work when I changed the excel schema and file source to use a ‘.xls’ file instead of the ‘.xlsx’ file. Is this a known issue and is there a driver that corrects this or something that we need to do besides using an older version of excel?

  In the process flow, double click on the Excel schema activity and in the bottom properties panel there is a option to select the file type. You can select the xlsx option there and it would work fine.
