Error: Cannot create the java virtual machine

Error:

Is there a known reason why the 32bit version of Java won't open the data
mapper? The 64bit will open it but other programs need the 32bit version.

Cause:

If memory for applet is more than 1536 then 64 bit Java is required as 32 bit java doesn't support that much memory.

Solution:

You will be able to open the applets on 32 bit Java version up to "1536M" of "abpm.dataMapper.maxHeapSize" set under Applet configuration.
