Login failed Given final block not properly padded

Error:

When logging into Adeptia, we are receiving an error on the log in screen

Login failed - Error while decrypting Given final block not properly padded

 

Cause:

This error is being thrown because of an discrepancy between the back-end database which may be on v6.1, but the version of Adeptia is currently v6.0. This can occur when you have two environments (development and production). If you have upgraded your development environment to a higher version of Adeptia (v6.1) ,than you currently have on your production system (v6.0); you may encounter issues when migrating objects from development to production.

 

Solution:

Upgrade your production installation to v6.1 (the same version as your development system). We would recommend keeping both installations the same version when trying to migrate objects between them, to avoid issues such as these.
