Mail Server Params different for clustered nodes

I just logged onto ETLPROD2 in adeptia and I see that the mail server parameters were not filled out completely there. I was under the impression that these 2 servers would always be in sync, so if I updated it on one the other would automatically be updated. I believe this is probably the problem. Adeptia, please let me know why these were not in sync?

  The mail server parameter values fall under the Application Settings > System Properties section of the Adeptia Installation. The System Properties determine the configuration of the Adeptia server and these properties are stored on a file located on the server machine.

  All the activities, flows, etc.. created within Adeptia are stored within the back-end database. Since both servers are pointed to the same back-end database, these are the items that will always be in sync. Since the mail server parameters are not stored within the database, the values from ETLPROD1 will not be transferred automatically to ETLPROD2.
