How to create an XML schema using DTD?

I'm trying to build my first XML map. XML is coming in so my input side of my map has a XML DTD as it's schema. When I load this into the map my whole DTD isn't there.

  Just make sure the Advanced Property "Convert to XSD/DTD" is unchecked for this XML schema
