In the target excel schema after giving the excel input using and testing it, results in an error file with some records.

What is test button? what does it test? Why did test button showed errors and the same excel worked good after data mapping and process flow. Why?

  Test button always parses the file according to schema definition and provides you output. You can use the Test button for parsing source and target data. If you are using it as source then you have to provide the excel file and if you are using for testing target then provide an XML input which shall transform it to Excel data.

  In your case if you are using it at target excel schema you have to provide XML file.
