Error in execution : Content not allowed in prolog

Hi, I'm not sure exactly what this error is referring to in my process flow where it aborts in the data map activity:

"Error in execution : Content is not allowed in prolog.] "

  This error generally comes when the Input given to Data Mapper activity is not a Proper/valid XML. Could you please check if the XML sent to Mapper is in desired format.
