Example: Prescriber requests medication history
In this example a prescriber is requesting historical prescription information from a payer for a patient based on a date range or social security number. Payer sends back a response with one prescription. Video shows how a non-technical user can easily map the NCPDP Script and other standards to any target format.
Payer can easily setup a trading partner in Adeptia and automate all the NCPDP transactions.
- Payer receives request from the Prescriber (trading partner)
- Maps the RxHistory Request / Response message
- Automatic trigger processes new requests on arrival
- Payer checks the request status in Trading Partner Monitor interface
Refer to the following data integration video on how to setup a trading partner and automate the processing of prescriber requests.
As part of this example we will use database lookups to search for the Patient medication historical data from a database table and apply the search results into the Rx History Response segments under the PrescribedMedication node of the SCRIPT Standard.
